All wearables are ruggedized and have ingress-protection for operation in real-world job-sites and are also available in ATEX/Intrinsically safe variants.
The devices can connect to the backend Kyra software via Wi-Fi or cellular networks for data transfer.
All of our wearable devices have local compute and storage capabilities. Allowing them to operate independently, and without requiring a connectivity tether to the network.
The wearables interoperate wirelessly with nearby 3rd-party peripherals and other wearables, as well as act as connectivity hubs for those devices.
Powered by detachable and rechargeable batteries, every device runs for at least eight hours, or more, without needing to recharge mid-shift, and additional battery packs let you keep using the system without having to reach for the charger.

The HC1 communicator is our flagship smart hardhat that provides sensor-based contextual awareness of the surroundings; multi-modal, high-precision real-time positioning (RTLS) and proximity detection; comprehensive audio-visual telecommunications; peripheral connectivity; and multiple wireless backhaul options; with an ergonomic and user-friendly interface.
The hardhat PPE form factor allows for hands-free operation and simplifies the overall usage and adoption. Designed to be a general-purpose industrial wearable, the HC1 provides an unparalleled set of features and capabilities for use in all our solutions and across industries.
As with all our wearables, the HC1 can be used with Wi-Fi or cellular networks, can operate in offline mode, and is available as an ATEX/Intrinsically Safe variant.

The TA1 tag is a ruggedized, small form factor, body-worn, device with a touch display. The tag provides location tracking, audio-visual telecommunications, workers’ safety features such as SOS, proximity detection, and AV media collection features.
Designed to be used with a clip or carried on the body, the small form-factor, and long battery life, the TA1 is a recommended option when location-tracking, proximity-detection, audio-visual communication or the core workers’ safety features are the main priorities; or when the small form factor and the screen-based user interface is desirable.
The TA1 tag runs Guardhat’s proprietary software which can be customized for specific needs. Compatible 3rd party applications can also be run on the device.

The HF1 Finder smart hardhat provides high-precision location tracking along with a focused set of features specifically for workers’ safety applications while sporting the same ergonomic and user-friendly interface as the HC1.
The hardhat PPE form factor allows for hands-free operation and simplifies the overall usage and adoption. The HF1 is suitable when the extended capabilities of the HC1 hardhat are not required, and where high-precision, full-3D location along with core safety features are the primary priorities.
As with all our wearables, the HF1 is available as an ATEX/Intrinsically Safe variant.
SMARTPHONE-BASED LOCATION, WORKERS’ SAFETY, AND WORKPLACE PRODUCTIVITY.
The Rhea Android app provides location tracking and core safety features (SOS, fall detection, man-down, proximity detection) using the host phone’s hardware. The app also provides a mobile version of the Guardhat Safety Control Center (SCC) and lets the user access a subset of SCC’s features in the field. The app can be installed from the Google App Store on existing, compatible Android phones and used immediately after activation.
The Rhea app-based solution is a suitable option when the hardware wearables cannot be used, or as a companion app in a hybrid deployment. It is also a good fit for job sites where a BYOD or company-issued mobile devices policy is in effect.
The app is also useful for monitoring and managing a team of personnel in the field, as the app provides a sub-set of the operational features of the SCC product.
The app uses the phone’s hardware for location and proximity and can also use the available sensors (varies by phone model and make) for other features such as man-down detection.
